USA Archery Seeking Membership Coordinator

POSITION TITLE:  Membership Coordinator

REPORTS TO:          Membership Services Manager

SUMMARY: 

The Membership Coordinator is responsible for administering USA Archery membership services programs. These functions include providing customer service and support to current and potential members, assisting with new membership applications and renewals, identifying ways to increase and retain USA Archery membership, and improving membership benefits.  The Membership Coordinator also provides support for program and product sales.

Membership

  • Provides customer service and membership registration assistance to members, clubs and state associations
  • Processes new membership applications and renewals for individuals, families, clubs and state associations
  • Verifies Collegiate Archery Program membership eligibility
  • Coordinates and distributes member communications including, but not limited to welcome kits, club certificates, appreciation letters, renewal notices, membership promotion and membership benefits
  • Recommends strategies for increasing membership
  • Recommends and administers membership benefits programs
  • Coordinates and issues certificates of insurance
  • Implements USA Archery membership survey recommendations

Product Sales

  • Leads USA Archery merchandise sales customer service and reporting efforts
  • Verifies membership/certification requirements for program and product sales
  • Coordinates purchase orders for program and product sales
  • Coordinates equipment sales distribution

Programs

  • Manages and distributes awards for the JOAD Club Olympian award program
  • Manages and distributes awards for the FITA Pin Program
  • Orders program merchandise for JOAD Olympian and FITA Pin Program

General Duties

  • Assists with general email, mail and phone call inquiries
  • Maintains the USA Archery membership database
  • Maintains membership files
  • Creates, revises and updates forms
  • Updates membership policies
  • Maintains historical records
  • Provides content updates for membership on the USA Archery website
  • Other duties as assigned

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

  • Standard Office Equipment

TRAVEL:

  • Travel Required (Minimal)

CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment in Colorado Springs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Database experience highly preferred
  • General knowledge of archery preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Required to obtain a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification
