USA Archery Coaching Resources are an online resource available for instructors and coaches to access the adaptive archery manual and video series, certification course training videos, coach competency resources and more from within the USA Archery Membership Dashboard.
The Adaptive Archery Manual and Video Series and Level 1 Instructor video library may be accessed by anyone. Access to the video library for Level 2 Instructor and higher will be provided after the student has successfully completed a USA Archery Instructor or Coach certification course, applicable prerequisites, and the applicant data form is returned to USA Archery and verified.
Ensure your smartphone or other mobile device has a QR Code Scanner App to scan the QR codes located in the USA Archery Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 certification manuals.
The Club Excellence Program is a unique 9-month learning experience available to select USA Archery clubs and their coaching staff. The program is structured and appropriate for club leaders and associated coaches wanting to elevate the status of their club and develop athletes to be nationally and internationally competitive. This program is also ideal for Instructors and Coaches looking to prepare for the Level 3-NTS Coach Course and/or Level 4-NTS Coach Course and developing Level 4-NTS Coaches.
This course is designed for coaches, parents and athletes who have discovered that no sport can be mastered without attention to the mental game and will teach beginners and veteran athletes to reduce mental error. This course also includes common sense coaching guidelines that all coaches can use. The course will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.

Coaching Principles covers the fundamentals of being a successful coach – on and off the field.
This manual was created through a partnership between Disabled Sports USA and USA Archery to help archery instructors incorporate archers of all abilities into existing archery programs. This partnership is a part of Disabled Sports USA’s Adapt2Achieve program, which aims to strengthen and develop community-based sports programs through adaptive sports training and education initiatives.
In addition to the Adaptive Archery Manual, through generous grant funding from VA Adaptive Sports, USA Archery also created a library of helpful video content on topics such as shooting with a mouthtab, prosthetic, shoulder release, and how to make a mouthtab.

Positive Coaching Alliance is a national non-profit developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. They offer six online courses – all expert-developed and designed to help coaches, parents, athletes and officials ensure that winning happens both on and off the field in youth sports.

How to Coach Kids is co-created by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and Nike and inspired by Aspen Institute Project Play.
