Each year at the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) National Target Championships, youth archers from across the country gather to compete for medals and college scholarships. The scholarships, offered directly from colleges and universities, allow college-bound young men and women an opportunity to continue participating in archery while attending school. With JOAD and collegiate archery clubs spanning the United States, there’s plenty of opportunities near you. Come join the fun!
Scholarships are offered to top finishing male and female archers in varying recurve, compound, barebow (recurve), and fixed pins divisions.
Young archers interested in competing at the JOAD National Target Championships must be a USA Archery member and belong to a JOAD Club.
For additional scholarships opportunities offered outside of the JOAD National Target Championship search for specific colleges or state-specific collegiate programs on the Find a Club page.
