Job Posting: USA Archery Outreach Director

USA Archery has announced a job posting as follows:

POSITION TITLE: Outreach Director

REPORTS TO: CEO

SUMMARY: 

The Outreach Director leads USA Archery's outreach efforts that include coordination, communication and program and product sales to camps, 4-H, Park and Recreation programs, Boy Scouts, and state agencies. This position also supports and promotes all USA Archery grassroots programs, including JOAD, ASAP, Adult Achievement and instructor level certification.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Markets the level 1 and 2 instructor training programs to outreach groups
  • Provides input to USAA coaches on updates to the Level 1 and 2 instructor materials
  • Leads efforts related to outreach partner agreements and coordinated projects
  • Researches and recommends additional program partnership opportunities
  • Manages any grants related to outreach activities
  • Coordinates efforts related to outreach trade shows and industry meetings and events to promote instructor training and USA Archery grassroots programs
  • Develops and distributes marketing material for archery programs
  • Performs and acquires market research related to outreach groups
  • Makes strategic recommendations regarding outreach, curriculum and introductory instructor programs
  • General communication with outreach groups
  • Fields general email and phone call inquiries from outreach groups
  • Coordinates with outreach partners on activities
  • Oversees product and promotional material related to outreach programs

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

  • Standard office equipment

CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment in Colorado Springs, CO (home office is an option)
  • Extensive travel will be required 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in athletic or recreation administration or sport performance
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong team building orientation
  • Creative thinker and innovator
  • Supports transparency, ethical decision making and always acts with the highest degree of integrity
