CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Registration is officially open for one of the most anticipated stops on the U.S. archery calendar - the 2026 Easton Foundations SoCal Showdown, set to take place June 19–21 at the stunning Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
A longtime favorite among athletes, coaches and fans alike, the SoCal Showdown blends elite competition with a world-class venue, creating an atmosphere that consistently delivers memorable moments - and unforgettable finals. Just ask those who watched last year’s dramatic championship day, when clutch performances and surprise results lit up the finals field in Chula Vista.
The SoCal Showdown serves as the third of four events in the United States Archery Team (USAT) Qualifier Series, making it a pivotal opportunity for archers chasing national team aspirations. The event follows the Easton Foundations Gator Cup (April 17–19) and the Easton Foundations Salt Lake Summit (May 22–24 & May 29–31), with momentum and rankings on the line as the season heats up. Archers will also be striving for USAT Series Final qualification points for the chance to enter the top eight in Springfield, Missouri prior to the 142nd USA Archery Target Nationals.
One of the most exciting updates for 2026 is the return of Mixed Team Rounds, with expanded capacity across two competition fields to accommodate even more teams. This popular format brings added strategy, teamwork and energy to the schedule - and gives athletes another chance to shine on a national stage.
For Mixed Team Rounds, archers can kick off their week by choosing from seven optional categories on Thursday, June 18, before the main competition begins on the Friday. Whether you are looking to gain extra reps, test yourself in a team setting or simply enjoy more time on the line, this will offer something for everyone.
