USA Archery National Events Update

Dear Archers,

In abundance of caution and with athlete safety and well-being always at the core of our priorities, USA Archery has cancelled or postponed several upcoming national events. Within guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and local public health authorities, we have communicated with local and state event organizers and many of those events in the coming months are/will be cancelled or postponed as well.

With high hopes for the season to resume when we are safely able, registration is now open for several events past the current CDC recommendation against large gatherings and we can’t wait to see you all on the shooting line again soon!

Cancelled/Postponed Events:

• 2020 AAE Arizona Cup – postponed to Oct. 23-25, 2020
• 2020 U.S. Paralympic Trials, Stage 1 – postponed to May 23, 2020, in conjunction with Gator Cup pending approval from USOPC and USAA Board of Directors
• 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials – Archery, Stage 3 – postponed to June 8-11, 2020, prior to SoCal Showdown pending approval from USOPC and USAA Board of Directors
• 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials – Archery, Stage 4 – postponed to June 15-16, 2020, following SoCal Showdown pending approval from USOPC and USAA Board of Directors
• ALL 2020 Collegiate Target Regionals – cancelled
• 2020 USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals – cancelled
• USA Archery Indoor Nationals Final – postponed (date TBA)
• USA Archery Collegiate Indoor Nationals Final – cancelled

Registration open for:

• 2020 Easton Foundations Gator Cup (May 22-24: Newberry, FL)
• 2020 USA Archery Field Nationals, World Archery Field Championships – U.S. Team Trials and Recurve/Barebow World Games Trials (July 9-12: Yankton, SD)
• 2020 USA JOAD Target Nationals (July 15-19: Decatur, AL)

Update to medal winners from Indoor Nationals:  USA Archery staff is currently working remotely at least through March 30, following safety guidelines. Mailing your award out will be a priority once regular office hours resume. We thank you for participating and for your patience.
