USA Archery Announces 2022 National Events Schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery has proudly announced our schedule for 2022 Indoor Nationals and the United States Archery Team (USAT) Qualifier Series Events, plus exciting news about the expansion of competition divisions for barebow and youth fixed pins archers, and our full schedule is now available – mark your calendar so you don’t miss these awesome events!

First up, the Indoor Nationals events will return to thirteen regional locations across six weekends. Back by popular demand, the Indoor Nationals Final is on the schedule for March 18 in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Indoor Nationals Schedule is as follows:

  • January 14-16: Kentucky
  • January 21-23: Chula Vista
  • January 28-30: New Mexico
  • February 11-13: Texas, Minnesota, Georgia
  • February 18-20: Sacramento, Florida
  • February 25-27: Michigan, Virginia, Utah, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania
  • March 17: FINAL in Kentucky

The USAT Qualifier Series Events are as follows:

  • April 1-3: Arizona Cup/World University Games Team Trials (Phoenix, AZ)
  • May 27-29: Gator Cup (Newberry, FL)
  • June 10-12: SoCal Showdown (Chula Vista, CA)
  • July 29-31: Buckeye Classic (Dublin, OH)

Outdoor National Championship Events:

  • May 11-14: USA Archery Field Nationals/World Games Team Trials/World Team Trials (Yankton, SD)
  • May 19-22: USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals (Chula Vista, CA)
  • July 20-24: USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals (Decatur, AL)
  • August 10-13: 138th USA Archery Target Nationals & U.S. Open (Malvern, PA)

Additional Trials Event:

  • June 1-2: World 3D Team Trials (London, KY)

USA Archery’s 138th Target Nationals and U.S. Open are brought to you in partnership with Chester County Convention and Visitor Bureau and Middletown Archery. “The Chester County CVB is thrilled to welcome the best archers from around the country in 2022 and 2023,” commented Sports & Events Sales Manager, Travis Geiser. “The CVB and Middletown Archery Club look forward to working closely with the USA Archery staff, partners, and volunteers to provide a fantastic event.”

On behalf of Middletown Archery, Coach Cindy Bevilacqua added: “I am thrilled to welcome you to my neighborhood.  I am also very excited to be assisting in a week of excellent competition along with some fun-filled relaxing events. Our area has a lot to offer from historic battle grounds and parks, Longwood Gardens, plenty of restaurants and entertainment. We are a close drive to Philadelphia too. Can't wait to see everyone in August.”
