USA Archery and ASA Open First National 3-D Collegiate Championship

FOLEY, Alabama - The inaugural National 3-D Collegiate Championship, hosted by USA Archery and the Archery Shooters Association, began today at the beautiful course in the Graham Creek Interpretive Center. As USA Archery's collegiate archery program continues to grow, we were thrilled to partner with the ASA to put on this event to meet the diverse interests of our competitive archery community.

This fun filled event began with open practice in the morning followed by a team shoot mixer in the afternoon and an evening social activity at a local amusement park! Timothy Lamont of Pennsylvania College of Technology shared: "I'm excited to make it here and glad to be here hsooting at USA Archery's first ever National 3-D Collegiate Championships."

Competition begins tomorrow with competition at 20 targets at unknown distances in the morning and another 20 targets in the afternoon followed by a special low-country shrimp boil BBQ and award ceremony. Sunday, the archers will compete in team rounds followed by another award ceremony.
