Level 1 Instructor Practical Course - WLACC

Minimum age of 15.  Must have a current USA Archery or NFAA membership, as well as completing a successful USA Archery background screen, and SafeSport certification required to register for this course.  This Practical course is for students who have completed the pre-requisites and their USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Online Course within the USA Archery Education Hub at their own pace. Upon successful completion of the online course, students will then register for this in-person Practical Course. This Practical course costs $30.  Certification Period is Three years from the date of course completion. Benefits of upon passing this course includes: (i) USA Archery Mobile Coach, (ii) Qualified to be the lead Instructor for an Explore Archery Program and, (iii) Eligible for USA Archery insurance coverage.  Please provide the certificates showing completion of the pre-requisites.

For Adults in Scouting BSA, This is the minimum certification needed to run an archery session for a Scouts BSA unit, a district or Council event or to be an Archery Merit Badge Councilor.
