Marty Swanson Honored by Riverside Sport Hall of Fame

Riverside, CA - Martin Swanson, a World Archery Honorary Judge with an exceptionally distinguished career in archery, has been selected to be honored by the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame at the organization's upcoming Wall of Distinction Ceremony.

 

The ceremony, whch will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame, will acknowledge Swanson's "outstanding achievements in athleteics, as well as for the positive example set for youth." The Governing Board of the organization has credited Swanson with boosting community pride through his history in the sport of archery.

 

According to World Archery, which bestowed the title of Honorary Judge upon Swanson in 2010, "Honorary Judges are a select number of people that have gathered experience as a result of their active commitment to the World Archery family." 

 

Swanson has served as Judge at many notable national and international competitions, including the U.S. National Target Championships, the Archery World Cup, the World Masters Games, and the 1996 Olympic Games. He has also served as both a Judge and Chairman of Judges at numerous World Championship events.
