USA Archery Logo

A USA Archery Sanctioned Collegiate Event is a competition in which a student competes in the collegiate archery division representing their school. To participate, archers must be members of USA Archery and meet all collegiate eligibility requirements.

National Competitions

U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships

USA Archery will host the U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships (Target). This event is open only to eligible college students. The tournament format will follow World Archery rules.


  • Day One: Official Practice/Check-in/Equipment Inspection
  • Day Two: 72 Arrow Qualification Round/Mixed Team Round
  • Day Three: 72 Arrow Qualification Round/Team Round
  • Day Four: Individual Elimination Round

U.S. National Indoor Championships

USA Archery will offer college divisions within the U.S. National Indoor Championship events.

U.S. National 3D Collegiate Championships

USA Archery will work with the Archery Shooters Association to organize the U.S. National 3D Collegiate Championships.

Regional Outdoor and regional 3d Collegiate Championships

Regional competitions will be determined by each region in consultation with USA Archery.

State Archery Competitions 

The inclusion of college divisions within existing state championship will be encouraged by USA Archery.

Local Archery Competitions

Any Collegiate Archery Program may host an archery tournament as long as it is sanctioned through USA Archery.

World University Games

USA Archery is the organization responsible for selecting a team to represent the United States in the World University Games (WUG). The WUG are held every other year and are organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The event is a multi-sport competition open to eligible men and women who are between the ages of 17 and 24.
