Summer Shoot-Out

Index Archers presents the Summer Shoot-Out of 2021!  

This outdoor event is a Round Robin being held on Sunday, August 29.   Archers will be placed into brackets determined by their average arrow and USAA/WA division parameters (equipment, distance, and target face).  Brackets will NOT be determined by gender or age.  Archers who shot a pin distance of 30 meters are accepted (you guys are rockin’ it this summer!) and will be bracketed together.

Who:  The Summer Shoot-Out of 2021 is open to all archers who are members of USA Archery or have a temporary USA Archery membership.  (Recreational Membership Excluded)  If you shot a 720 event with Index Archers, we will use your average arrow from those results.  If you have not shot a 720 with Index Archers, please provide a copy of a 720 sanctioned event scorecard to [email protected].  Baystate Games results are allowed. 

All archers will shoot the 9 am session.  Space is limited so register soon!

Fee:  $45 per archer.  

Format:

• Arrive early enough for check-in and be ready for the pre-shoot meeting.
• Pre-shoot meeting at 8:45. 
• TWO official practice ends at 9 am.
• There will be no more than 4 archers per bracket.
• Archers will shoot THREE arrows per end.  Each end will be TWO minutes.
• Each match will be THREE ends, meaning archers will shoot 9 ends in total with the possibility of one arrow shoot offs.  
• Recurve and barebow archers shoot for set points while compound archers will shoot for cumulative score.  
• If opponents are tied at the conclusion of their third end, they will have a one arrow shoot off for ONE point (set or cumulative)
• There will be two lines with approximately 36-40 archers expected.
• Prizes awarded for the winner of each bracket.  Winner takes all!
  

Bring a pop-up/canopy and chairs.   There is no food available on site, but we will have water.

Cancelation policy:  Registration closes at the end of day on Monday August 23. Cancelations received prior to August 19 will receive a reduced refund of $35 due to processing fees, and no refunds for cancelations received on or after August 19.  Any registration requests received August 24th or later will require an additional $15 late registration fee.  Thank you for your understanding.
