Level-2 Instructor Practical - Virginia

Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification Practical includes the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor course/practical information and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range, and athlete development and event information.

Participants must have completed the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Online course in order to perform this practical event. In addition to passing the practical, instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, current USA Archery Background Screen, and a current USA Archery membership.

Practical Course Fee: $125 per person – fee is payable by cash, PayPal or Zelle prior to the start of class. Practical event will be limited to a max of 6-students.

Prerequisites:

• Completed USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Online Course        
• Minimum Age: 18 (A student who is 17 years old and within 30 days of his or her 18th birthday may take the Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification Course. However, the instructor may not submit the Applicant Data form until the student turns 18 years of age.)
• Membership to USA Archery
• U.S. Center for SafeSport Training
• USA Archery Background Screening (Please note: you will not be able to register for the Level 2 course until the screening has been cleared by NCSI. Screenings typically take about 7-10 business days.)

This is an Interactive class where you will demonstrate the techniques and what you learned during the online class. There will be a short break for lunch between the level-1 and level-2 portions of the class. Recommend you bring something to eat/drink and snacks if you wish.
