Level-1 Instructor Practical - Virginia

The USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification course provides graduates the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range for camps and beginner archery programs.

The Level 1 Instructor will learn about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, equipment and repair, programs and lesson plans and is well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities in a variety of disciplines.

MINORS
Guardians must sign an addition waiver for minors to be left at the range unattended (ask at Range). Ages 15 and older may participate. This course is NOT a prerequisite to Level-2, you can take the level 2 without having a level-1 

PREREQUISITES:
Note that you may not register for the Practical on USA Archery's site until the online portion is completed. Please Register with time to complete these.

Requirements:

Complete the USA Archery Online course for Level-1 Instructor
Minimum Age 15 within 30 days of course

Class Fee $100.  (Class will be limited to a max of 4 Level-1 students)

Cash or Zelle or Paypal prior to start on the day of class. 

• Please note, the practical session will last approx 4-hrs for Level-1 and approx 7-8hrs for level-2 depending on attendance (4hrs of which is combined with the Level-1). We will also have approx 1 hour lunch break, you may bring your own food and drink or leave to get food. NOTE: This is a combined class for L1 and L2 Instructors. If over age 18 you may skip the L1 Certification and move right to the Level 2. The Level 1 is for ages 15-17.

How to Access the Online part of the Course

To access the online course, return or log in to your Personal Account at usarchery.sport80.com. In the far left-hand menu select Access Online Courses. You will be automatically directed to the USA Archery Education Hub where you will complete your online course.
