Paseo Archery Level 3 Practical

IMPORTANT! - You must complete the Level 3 On-line course before you can register for this practical.

The Level 3 Coach Certification Courses focuses on developing coaches who are capable of utilizing evidence based coaching and teaching methods, understand the finer details and concepts of the National Training System for both Recurve and Compound, and provide organized and effective training programs. Students in the Level 3 Coach Certification Courses will be introduced to quality coaching, motor learning theory, coaching methods, feedback methods, the National Training System for Compound and Recurve, the mental process, movement analysis, training theory and design, athlete development, coaching philosophy and coach development. 

COURSE INFORMATION

Course Length: Online Course - 6-8 hours, in person practical course - approximately 16 hours (Dependent on class size)

Course Cost: $100 for the Level 3 Online Course plus Level 3 Practical Course Cost(Cost of the Practical is $150.00)

Certification Period: Three years from the date of course completion

PREREQUISITES

·       Minimum age is 19

·       Must hold a current Level 2 Instructor certification

·       Membership to USA Archery

·       USA Archery Background Screening

·       Center for SafeSport Training

Directions From Guard Gate of the Sunbird Golf Resort

Turn into the Sunbird guard shack using the “Visitors” side ( the lane next to the shack). Let the guard know you are attending a meeting at the Clubhouse. Your sponsor is “Gary Hall” if the guard asks. Once the guard lets you in, go straight until the first stop sign (Sunbird Blvd). Turn left and follow the road past the big clubhouse to the first stop sign. Cross straight into the parking lot. From the parking lot, walk towards the clubhouse and enter the clubhouse. Follow the signs to the meeting room. You may use any other parking spots in the clubhouse area also as you drive in.
