The course fee is $125.00 for both the  Level  2 Practical Course. Your course fee includes coffee, lunch, and lodging the night of Saturday May 17,2025. (What a Deal!)

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor certification course provides graduates the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range for camps and beginner archery programs. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course to officially receive a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor certificate of completion. The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor will learn about range safety and setup, the steps of shooting, equipment and repair, programs and lesson plans, and is well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities in a variety of disciplines.

The course will be conducted by Tom Kelly, USA Archery Level 3 Coach/Certified Trainer. Coach Kelly has over 10 years of experience instructing archers of all ages! He has worked with several camps and schools throughout the state of Michigan. Some of the camps include Camp Pinewood, The Outdoor Discovery Center, Camp Blodgett, Camp Geneva, Sherman Lake, Camp Algonquin, and Clear Lake Camp. Archery clubs he has instructed and coached include West Michigan Archery Center, Detroit Archers, Farmington Hills Parks and Recreation, Byron Township Recreation, Michigan State University, and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources at North Higgins Lake.
