USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Practical
The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification, NOTE: Online MUST be completed by 05/27/24 due to DB upgrade.
The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course provides the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. Level 1 Instructors are prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. The Level 1 Instructor will learn about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, and basic equipment and repair. Minimum Age is 15 and certification is good for 3 years.
Course Content:
How to set up a range, general range safety, whistle commands, steps of shooting and basic equipment repair
Please bring: notebook & pen/pencil. You will also need to bring your own lunch, drinks, snacks and dress for the weather as we are outside.
Practical fee of $35.00 payable by check or money order to Keith L. Hatfield, 201 Ash St Unit 1, Waltham, MA 03453 and must be received by May 30, 2025 to ensure registration. Student is responsible for $40.00 to USA Archery for online Level 1 Instruction which must be completed before registration for the practical.
