USA Archery Shares Election Results for Athlete Advisory Councils and Board of Directors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery recently held elections to fill seats for a Representative and an Alternate for the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee's (USOPC) Athletes' Advisory Council (AAC) and the USA Archery (USAA) AAC, two additional recurve seats on the USAA AAC and three compound seats. A separate election was held to fill three recurve seats on the USAA Para AAC and another determined the compound Athlete Director position on the USAA Board of Directors.

The mission of these positions is to represent the athlete communities to key groups including the USOPC and USA Archery Staff. Representative positions are advisory in nature and allow athletes to have a voice at the table as key decisions are made for the direction of our sport.
