COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For a second year in a row, Texas A&M University (TAMU) claimed the Overall Collegiate Team Championship at the 57th USA Archery Indoor Nationals, with nearly 1,000 student-athletes competing across the event. The margin of victory over University of the Cumberlands was narrower this time, highlighting the depth of talent across collegiate archery.
The top three remained the same as last year, with University of Rio Grande taking bronze. TAMU won by just over 14 points, compared to a more-than 36-point difference in 2025, with numerous individual archers earning honors across multiple classes.
Joshua Baek (Columbia University) captured gold in recurve collegiate men, adding to his national title in recurve U21 men. Ephraim Tonn-Bourg (University of Rio Grande) mirrored that feat in para compound collegiate men, also winning para compound men. Catalina GNoriega (TAMU) earned gold in recurve collegiate women alongside her bronze in Senior recurve women.
Sawyer Sullivan (TAMU) and Julia Rives (William Carey University) finished fourth in Senior compound men and women, respectively, but their scores were enough to secure gold in compound collegiate. Emmie Purcell (William Carey University) achieved the same in barebow - fourth in Senior barebow women, but first in barebow collegiate - while Kelly Hawvermale (Muskingum University) took gold in barebow U21 women and silver behind Purcell at the collegiate level.
In barebow collegiate men, Kyle Coffey (Union Commonwealth University) claimed gold, with Chase White (University of the Cumberlands) earning silver, adding to the medal he won in barebow U21 men. The fixed pins collegiate men saw three silver medalists - Adam Curran (University of Rio Grande), Augustus Burtts (Lindsey Wilson College), and Jackson Ratajczak (University of the Cumberlands) - with gold going to Nate Harper (University of Pikeville).
Mixed team golds were awarded to Joshua Baek and Alena Lipscomb (Columbia University) in recurve, Sawyer Sullivan and Carson Krahe (TAMU) in compound, Elijah Hillensbeck and Emmie Purcell (William Carey University) in barebow, and Jackson Ratajczak and Cammie Shuman in fixed pins.
Of the eight Collegiate Team titles up for grabs, Texas A&M won three categories, University of the Cumberlands captured both men’s and women’s fixed pins, and University of Rio Grande, Muskingum University, and Union Commonwealth University each took one.
