COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Medalists have been confirmed for the 2026 USA Archery JOAD Indoor Nationals but not before a few alterations following action across Michigan, Mississippi and Virginia last weekend.
In all, there were 15 archers who did enough to secure podium spots with their final weekend performances, including five who claimed gold, eight to achieve silver and two to take bronze.
Of those taking gold in the final weekend were Caleb Chang (recurve U18 men), Savannah O’Donohue (compound U21 women), Brody Terry (compound U15 men), Elijah Hillensbeck (barebow U21 men) and Marshal Boring (fixed pins U18 men).
In all, there were 36 national champions named, across recurve, compound, barebow, fixed pins and para divisions, with almost 1,700 archers competing at a combined 17 events nationwide..

It was even closer in recurve U21 women, where four points separated the top six, and six points were the difference between the leading eight! Akshara Vijay (pictured) finished with gold, from Charvika Gopi. Both shot 570 but Vijay managed to hit one more 10. Samantha Ensign took bronze with 569.
Audrey Han set a new national record on her way to gold in recurve U15 women. Three points divided gold and bronze in recurve U13 men, as Luke Wang became JOAD national champion, ahead of Silas Huang and Ethan Tang.

Miranda Meighen (563), Maddie Hanley and Emma Wilkin (both 561) were the medalists in a fiercely fought compound U15 women – Hanley took silver with two more 10s than Wilkin. In fixed pins, Aaron Brunner dopped just one point in scoring 599 to win gold in U21 men. Jeannie Hite scored 596 for top honors in U21 women, as did Marshal Boring in U18 men. Brother Aaron also returned home with god in fixed pins U13 men.
