STAY UP TO DATE
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Registration is now open for the 2021 Collegiate Target Nationals. After a challenging 2020, that saw collegiate events cancelled across the country, we are excited to welcome archers to Richmond, VA May 20-23. Hosted in partnership with the Shenandoah Valley Target Archers , Richmond Region Tourism, Henrico County and support from James Madison University Archery Team, this is sure to be a great event.
The event schedule, general information, including COVID-19 guidelines and more is available here: https://www.usarchery.org/events/national-tournaments/USA-Archery-Collegiate-Target-Nationals.
Eligible collegiate archers competing at Collegiate Target Nationals can participate in individual, team and mixed team events as they shoot for top honors for their schools, including the National Team Championship award, and All-American accolades. The event will also feature an optional, outdoor Saturday evening social event.
As previously announced on March 25th in a direct email to all collegiate archers and program leaders, the 2021 World University Games have been cancelled. Thus, the Collegiate Target Naitonals event no longer serves as the Trials event for that competition.
USA Archery will be hosting a virtual Annual Collegiate Archery Program Meeting in June. We understand many schools are still unable to travel due to COVID-19 restrictions and we want to ensure all program leaders have an opportunity to share their feedback for the program and participate in this meeting. USA Archery will send additional details at a later date.
Collegiate archers are currently wrapping up participation in Indoor Nationals and gearing up for Collegiate Target Regionals. A full listing of events can be found on the USA Archery Events Calendar.
