Registration now open for 2026 USA Archery Field & 3D Nationals and U.S. Team Trials in Yankton

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Yankton, South Dakota will once again become a focal point for USA Archery this summer, as it hosts both the USA Archery Field Nationals and USA Archery 3D Nationals, alongside the U.S. Team Trials for the 2026 World Championships in each discipline.

The USA Archery Field Nationals return to Yankton for the first time since 2022, when familiar names such as Brady Ellison (recurve men), Paige Pearce (compound women), Christina Lyons (barebow women) and Robby Weissinger (barebow men) were among the gold medalists.

Competition will take place June 3–6 at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center, with registration now open for all four components:

  • USA Archery Field Nationals
  • USA Archery 3D Nationals
  • U.S. Team Trials for the World Archery Field Championships
  • U.S. Team Trials for the World Archery 3D Championships

Please note that each event and each Team Trial require a separate registration.

Registration is now open for all events, with separate deadlines that vary by event. Athletes are encouraged to review each listing carefully and register early to secure their spot.

Both national championships will serve as the official selection events for athletes seeking to represent the United States at the World Archery Field Championships and World Archery 3D Championships, which will also be held in Yankton later this year from September 24 to October 4.

Field archery challenges athletes to shoot at stationary targets of varying sizes set at different distances, elevations, and angles across a natural terrain course. Courses may include uphill, downhill, and uneven footing, making both physical endurance and shot execution key factors for success.

3D archery features lifelike foam animal targets placed throughout a similar natural terrain course, again with varying distances, angles, and elevations. Like field archery, 3D courses can be physically demanding and require athletes to adapt quickly to changing target presentations and environmental conditions.

Both disciplines test not only technical skill, but also an archer’s ability to read terrain, manage distance estimation, and maintain consistency across challenging outdoor courses.

With national titles on the line - and the opportunity to earn selection to represent the U.S. on the world stage - the 2026 Field and 3D Nationals in Yankton promise to be a highlight of the outdoor season.
