TAIPEI, Chinese Taipei – Six archers from the USA will be involved in Stage 3 of the 2026 Indoor Archery World Series, the Taipei Archery Open, taking place this weekend in Asia.
Among those competing for the United States is leading barebow archer, Cindy Czako. Czako, though, is entered in the recurve women division, as is Mo Fong.
Of the remaining four making their way to Chinese Taipei, two will contest the recurve U21 women division – Sarah Hwang and Emily Wong – with Mo’s son Gabriel involved in recurve U21 men and 14-year-old Ho Hong Hung representing the red, white and blue in recurve U15 men.
Czako was a two-time silver medalist this year in the USAT Qualifier Series, claiming second spot in barebow women at the Easton Foundations Gator Cup and Rebel Gear Buckeye Classic.
This is the third of seven stages in the 2026 Indoor Archery World Series. The stages to date have been the Swiss Open in Lausanne and the GT Open in Strassen, Luxembourg.
There is one remaining stage before the end of the year, the Rio de Janeiro – IWS 250. That is in Brazil from December 12-14 and will involve Brady Ellison.
Archers from the United States wishing to compete in the Indoor World Series events will be required to have a current USA Archery membership.
