USAA Establishes the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 8, 2009

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - USA Archery is pleased to announce the establishment of the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund.

Ann's life passion was archery and she believed in learning how to shoot archery the correct way. The basic fundamentals and drive to win were important to Ann. She believed the USAA's JOAD program provided a perfect environment for young archers to develop their skills and perfect them so that one day they could be champions.

Ann Weber Hoyt passed away in 2008. To continue her work she left $500,000 to be used for the further development of USAA's JOAD program. In appreciation and recognition, USA Archery has created the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund to thank Ann for all she has done for the sport and to encourage others to support the cause for which Ann had so much passion.

"Ann was one of the most passionate and competitive archers I have ever known. Ann strongly believed in giving young archers an opportunity to live their dreams through the sport of archery. For that, I personally thank her." says USA Archery CEO and Olympic Bronze Medalist Denise Parker.

The Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund will provide sustainable, long-term support to the JOAD program. The fund will be managed by the NAA Foundation and oversight is provided by the NAA Foundation Board.  Funds can be contributed directly to the account by sending a check to Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund, c/o NAA Foundation, 33 Greenmore Drive, Edmond, OK  73034.
