U.S. National Indoor Championships Head in to Second Weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery's 48th U.S. National Indoor Championships and JOAD National Indoor Championships is held at thirteen locations across the nation between February and March. Scores are compiled from all locations and are used to determine Indoor National Champion titles.

The events kicked off last weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Newberry, Florida. This weekend, we move to Massachusetts, California (Sacramento), Georgia and Michigan. Late registration is still available for Salt Lake City, Utah, Hamilton, Ohio and JOAD registration for Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Olympic silver medalist Jake Kaminski, who is sitting in first for the senior recurve men after the first two locations, shared on social media: "Well, I gave it all I had at USA Archery's Indoor Nationals this weekend. Ended up with an 1179, just two points shy of my [personal best] for the round even with shooting a 7. Had it been like the majority of other arrows, I would have had it Really happy with the progress so far! Now on to outdoors finally, ready for 70m again!"

Follow live results as the events continue for U.S. and JOAD Indoor National Championships. For those who, like Jake, are already counting down to outdoor season, registration is now open for Arizona Cup and the Gator Cup.
