2011 Parapan Am Games Team Announced

Colorado Springs, CO - The 2011 Parapan American Games Team for Archery has been announced. In the open men's recurve division, the U.S. will be represented by Steven Bosson, Michael Lukow and Russell Wolfe. For open women's recurve, the U.S. archers will be Eileen (Lee) Ford, D'arce Hess and Natalie Wells. Lewis (Dugie) Denton, Jonathan Mize and Matthew Stutzman will comprise the open men's compound team.

The 2011 Parapan American Games will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico from November 7-22, with the archery event taking place November 17-19. The Parapan Am Games, which will be held for the fourth time in 2011, is a multi-sport event for disabled athletes which historically follows the Pan American Games, held every four years.

The team of para archers representing the United States has gained strong competitive experience in 2011, with several team members having competed earlier this year at the World Archery Para Championships and Stoke-Mandeville Open. To assist with preparation, team members are participating at a training camp, currently in progress at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
