2026 USA Archery Nevada State and JOAD Outdoor Championships

Location: | Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club 2700 Utah St. Boulder City, NV 89005 *A map will be sent prior to the tournament with specific instructions **Please note the venue has a very strict policy on the speed limit in the complex due to the dirt roads, if you are caught going above the posted speed limit the venue will require to you to leave and there will be nothing the tournament director can do to assist you in getting back into the venue for competition thus forfeiting your place in the competition. |
Specific Tournament Information: | Competitive Shooters - archers who are shooting the correct distance for their category per World Archery/USA Archery rules and are eligible for State Awards and Records Non-Competitive Shooters - archers who are shooting the corresponding shorter distance to gain experience in outdoor shooting - see information below about categories/distances For any 1 person divisions, there will be an optional option to compete against any other 1 person divisions in match play; these matches would be for fun, no awards would be given based on the outcomes. This gives everyone the opportunity to compete in match play and gain experience. |
Qualification for all divisions will be Saturday, September 12th (see information for division specific times) Elimination Matches for all divisions will be Sunday, September 13th (see information for division specific times) | Saturday, September 12th JOAD (U21 and under) divisions - Competitive and Non-Competitive 7:30 a.m. - Check-in and equipment inspection for all archers 8:00 a.m. - Qualification will begin with 3 official practice ends *Official Scoring will immediately follow; there will be no break during the duration of the round 12:00 p.m. - Projected end time of line time 12:15 p.m. - Projected start time of 1 person divisions Awards ceremony Adult (Senior and Masters) divisions - Competitive and Non-Competitive 12:30 p.m. - Check-in and equipment inspection for all archers 1:00 p.m. - Qualification will begin with 3 official practice ends *Official Scoring will immediately follow; there will be no break during the duration of the round 5:00 p.m. - Projected end time of line time 5:15 p.m. - Projected start time of 1 person divisions Awards ceremony Sunday, September 13th JOAD (U21 and under) divisions - Competitive and Non-Competitive 7:30 a.m. - Check-in time for elimination matches 8:00 a.m. - Shooting will begin with 2 official practice ends *Official Scoring will immediately follow Awards will be presented as each division finishes 11:00 a.m. - Projected end time of line time Adult (Senior and Masters) divisions - Competitive and Non-Competitive 11:30 a.m. - Check-in time for elimination matches *Might be earlier or later based on when the morning session finishes 12:00 p.m. - Shooting will begin with 2 official practice ends *Official Scoring will immediately follow Awards will be presented as each division finishes 2:00 p.m. - Projected end time of line time |
Round Information: | Qualification: 3 Official Practice Ends 72 Arrow Qualification (Two Scoring Rounds of 36 Arrows, for a total score of 720) *12 ends of 6 arrows, 4 minutes per end Match Play: 2 Official Practice Ends Elimination and Medal Matches until a winner is determined *Max of 5 ends of 3 arrows, 2 minutes per end; if a tie is reached at the end of 5 ends a 1 arrow shootoff (40 seconds) will be done - Compound/Fixed Pins matches will be for total score; Barebow/Recurve matches will be done with set points NO UNOFFICIAL PRACTICE AVAILABLE |

Registration: | All registrations must be processed via USA Archery Sport80 Platform. NO WALK-IN OR DAY-OF REGISTRATION. Competitive Shooters Early-Bird until July 1st - $70.00 Regular Registration July 1st - August 24th - $85.00 Late Registration after August 24th - $115.00 *As long as space is available Non-Competitive Shooters Regular Registration until August 24th - $40.00 Late Registration after August 24th - $75.00 *As long as space is available Deadline for Registration: September 7th, 2026 or when venue reaches capacity Please review your registration information to confirm correct discipline and division. |
Entries/Changes/ Cancellations: | Entry Deadline: Monday, September 7th at 11:59pm or earlier if the venue reaches capacity. Any changes to registration or cancellations must be emailed to [email protected]. Cancellations will be accepted up to the registration deadline of September 7th by email only. You may receive a full refund minus transaction fees. Sport80 and Stripe fees are non-refundable. Any corrections to age class or discipline MUST be made as soon as you are aware and PRIOR to the first scoring arrow being shot. |
Awards: | Top 3 archers in each Competitive category, following elimination rounds, will receive a medal. If it is a 1 person division, the archer will receive their award following the end of qualification. Non-Competitive Divisions are not eligible for awards. Out of state Guests are welcome! They will receive Guest awards but will not be eligible for the Nevada State Champion title. |

Coaches / Parents | NO COACHES/PARENTS SHALL BE ALLOWED IN THE ATHLETE AREA (THIS INCLUDES PRACTICE) NO EXCEPTIONS. Archers will hang their own target face with their bale mates and if they need assistance a judge will assist them. Please be respectful and remain seated and abide by all rules. Shouting/yelling to the athletes is not permitted and you may be removed from the venue! |
