2026 WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD U.S. Open

Welcome Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2026 WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD U.S. Open!

All participants shall be a member of USA Archery. This includes international guests.  

Guests must be a USA Archery member or purchase a Temporary Membership for Foreign Nationals here.

Barebow division is for recurve bows without sight and other accessories. Click here for Fixed Pins equipment rules.

All other equipment rules can be found in the World Archery Rulebook.

The 2026 JOAD Target Nationals will be a two-day, single-distance double 72-arrow round, while the JOAD U.S. Open is individual elimination rounds for the top 64 athletes in each category. 

National Championship titles are earned by the final standings after the double 72-arrow round, not the elimination rounds. Medals are awarded for both events.

There will be an optional team round on Sunday and medals will be provided. 

Para youth categories will be combined with appropriate able-body categories for Elimination rounds.

Early Registration on or before July 2, 2026 = $190.00

Late registration, July 3 - July 9, 2026 = $225.00

Cancellation date: On or before July 9 is subject to a 15% service fee.

Cancellations on or after July 10, 2026 are non-refundable.

2026 Youth Olympic Games U.S. Team Trials - SEPARATE REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The 2026 Youth Olympic Games U.S. Team Trials will be held in conjunction with the 2026 JOAD Target Nationals and JOAD U.S. Open, July 23-26 in Lincoln, NE. Athletes must register for both the JOAD Target Nationals and JOAD U.S. Open AND the Youth Olympic Games U.S. Team Trials in the Recurve U18 Division to be eligible for selection to the 2026 Youth Olympic Games. Separate registration payment of $75 for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games U.S. Team Trials is required and can be FOUND HERE. **Spectator seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis behind the athlete seating area. Spectators, please bring your own chairs, small canopies, and/or umbrellas. There is NO premium seating available for this event. Competing athletes will be provided with a chair in the tented athlete seating area.**

A separate practice facility is available, courtesy of the Turpin Outdoor Education Center. A weekly unlimited practice pass will be available for purchase ($25) by JOAD Nationals athletes during the registration process.
