2026 USA Archery Massachusetts State and JOAD Indoor Championships

The 2026 Massachusetts State Indoor and JOAD Championship is a World Archery Indoor Round with four lines to choose from: Saturday, 3/28/2026 at 11:00am or 3:00 pm, Sunday 3/29/2026 9:00 AM or 1:00 pm. The World Archery Indoor Round consists of a single 600 round (20 ends of 3 arrows) within a two minute time period per end.

The championships are at the Ashland Middle School school large gym in Ashland MA.

Competitors will shoot at a 40cm WA multi-color face or a triangle 3-spot face at 18 meters. Inner-10 ring will be in effect for Compound Division. The outer 10-ring will be in effect for all classes in Recurve, and Barebow. Recurve and Barebow U13 & U15 will shoot a 60cm target face at 18M.

Archers will not be permitted to shoot until they have checked-in and had their equipment inspected. All competitors must have a current USA Archery membership. Massachusetts residents or members of a MA archery club with US citizenship are eligible to become “state champion.” Non-residents are welcome to compete in the guest category. $60 Registration through 3/1/2026.  Late Registration $70 begins 3/2/2026. Registration refunds, less 10% fees, will be issued for requests prior to 3/14/2026 9am.

Food

There will not be any concessions available on site. Please feel free to bring any prepared food items that you will need for the day. Please store in appropriate containers; on site preparation is not allowed, nor is refrigeration or warming available.

Tournament Format

Individual Ranking Rounds

All divisions will have 2 official practice ends followed by 20 ends of official scoring on either Saturday and Sunday. Ends will consist of 3 arrows/ 2 minute ends, providing for 60 scoring arrows.

Dress Code

As a USA Archery Sanctioned event, all participants are required to abide by all dress code guidelines for outdoor events at all times (including Official Practice), as outlined by USA Archery.
