Level 1 Instructor Practical Course

 

The USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Course is designed to prepare individuals to teach beginner archery classes in a safe and engaging way. It’s ideal for people who want to coach in community programs, schools, camps, or clubs. 

This course will be instructed via MS Teams online, and Level-4 NTS Coach Kutalmis Saylam, Ph.D. will be administering it.

 

Course Overview:

The Level 1 course covers the fundamentals of archery instruction, focusing on safety, basic shooting techniques, and range setup. It typically includes online coursework followed by an in-person practical session. It will take 4-5 hours of study online, depending on the experience of the participants.

 

Certification Details:

• Valid for three years
• Min age is 15
• Allows you to instruct beginner-level archers, but not to coach advanced techniques or manage competitive programs (that’s Level 2+)
