Weather update from 2025 WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD U.S. Open

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The safety of the archers is always USA Archery's highest priority. Please review USA Archery's Severe Weather Policy.

With severe weather in the area, the decision was made to temporarily suspend competition at the 2025 WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD U.S. Open.

• 5:10pm MT - competition delayed due to severe weather.
• 5:45pm MT - there is a projected restart of 6:30pm but an additional update will be issued at 6:15pm.
• 6:15pm MT - Athletes, coaches and spectators may re-enter the field at 6:30pm. We appreciate it will take some time for athletes to be ready to shoot. Judges will check to make sure all competitors have returned to the field. Athletes will have two ends of practice due to having a delay of over an hour and will then shoot the final scoring end of the round.
