USA Archery Introduces U.S. National Indoor Championships Final

USA Archery recently released our 2018 National Events Schedule. The season kicks off with the U.S. and JOAD National Indoor Championships held in 13 locations over 5 weekends between January 19^th and March 4^th.

The Indoor Nationals Schedule is as follows:

• January 19-21: Utah, Florida
• February 2-4: New Mexico
• February 16-18: Sacramento, California
• February 23-25: Georgia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Michigan
• March 2-4: Texas, Minnesota, Virginia, and Chula Vista, California

New this year, there will be an exciting head to head final showdown for the top archers from the 13 locations. The U.S. National Indoor Championships Final will compete in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, March 9^th. This will be the same day and venue as the official practice day for the NFAA's Indoor Nationals.

The top eight male and female archers shooting recurve and compound bows will be invited to participate, regardless of age class. All archers who compete at 18m on a 40cm target face (single or three spot, inner 10 for compound) at one of the 13 locations will be eligible for invitation to the final.

The tournament will be single elimination with no qualification round, similar to the Archery World Cup Final. Recurve archers will use set system and compound archers will use cumulative score to determine match results. This event will be available to fans via a live stream and prize money will be announced closer to registration, which is set to open in October.
