ROBION, France - The World Archery 3D Championships continued today with the second and final round of qualification. From here, the top 16 archers in each division will continue to eliminations tomorrow, and the top 8 teams will participate in the team elimination event.

Calvin Smock was the highest U.S. qualifier - ranking 5th today for the longbow men. Dalton Richardson was also the sole U.S. compound male to make the cut, moving to 16th today with 465 to yesterday's 470. Barebow archers Dewayne Martin and Fawn Girard will also both continue. Martin's 400 today put him in 11th for the men while Girard just made the cut with a 355 today to qualify 16th.
Gaius Carter and Gabriel Crenshaw finished 27th and 51st respectively for the compound men. On the women's field, Hala Skelton, Traci Taylor and Lesley Winker finished 24th, 26th and 27th respectively with Skelton climbing a few spots after yesterday's round.
Barebow shooters Joella Bates and Jenifer Stoner were just a few points behind Girard yesterday, but slipped in the rankings today to finish 24th and 25th respectively. Matthew Potter and Erik Schwartz finished 30th and 40th for the barebow men's division.
In the longbow bracket, Paul McHargue and John Winker finished 30h and 37th and Laura Hughes ranked 27th for the women.
Instinctive men's shooters Mark Hodges, Daniel Haire and Allen Hughes also dropped in the rankings today, finishing 22nd, 29th and 40th respectively. Leanna Chadwell ranked 27th for the instinctive women's division.
Archers also qualified as teams, with one compound, one longbow athlete, and one either instinctive or barebow athlete on each team. The USA's men's team of Smock, Richardson and Martin are moved up to 7th today to make the cut for eliminations, while the women's team of Girard, Hughes and Skelton dropped to finish 11th.
