2023 AZ Cup Registration Exceeds 850 Athletes

Phoenix, AZ – USA Archery is impressed by the level of interest in participation in the 2023 AAE Arizona Cup and Stage 1 Trials for the 2023 World Archery Championships, World Archery Para Championships, Pan Am Games, Para Pan Am Games or World Archery Youth Championships. With over 850+ archers registered for the event or on the waitlist, this event is on track to be the highest attended USAT event in USA Archery history!

With over 100 athletes on the waitlist, Arizona Cup organizers and USA Archery event staff have been working hard to find the best solution to accommodate as many archers as possible. To that end, a schedule change was unavoidable, we apologize to anyone inconvenienced by this change.

Updated 2023 AZ Cup schedule:

  • Check-in and equipment inspection will be open during Thursday 10am – 4pm
  • Friday Schedule:
    • 8:00 am – Senior and 50+ Recurve Qualification round; Main field only
    • 1:30 pm – Senior and 50+Compound and Senior and 50+ Barebow Qualification Round; Main field only
    • 10:00 am to  5:30 pm – U18 & U21 ONLY; Open practice on the East field
  • Saturday Schedule:
    • 8:00 am – Senior/50+ Individual Eliminations – through Gold Medal matches; Main and East fields
    • 1:30 pm – U18/U21 Qualification; Main and East Fields

Any Senior and 50+ currently on the waitlist should expect to receive registration information by February 20, 2023. Registration is still open for anyone wanting to be placed on the waitlist. The 2023 AZ Cup will be held April 14-16 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ  – join the waitlist.
