SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – This week it is the turn of the youth to tread the turf of the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center as the second instalment of the Easton Foundations Salt Lake Summit unfolds. Senior, Para and 50+ archers competed at the same venue last week.
Salt Lake Summit is the second of four events which make up the USAT (United States Archery Team) Qualifier Series and there will be many on show in the coming days who are seeking to pick up where they left off in Newberry at the Easton Foundations Gator Cup, the series opener.
Ethan Chan hopes to make it two from two in recurve U21 men. He took gold in Florida, from Mavrick Greemore, who is also in Salt Lake City.
Yeshaswini Tati – who claimed gold in recurve U21 women at Gator Cup - has been busy bagging bronze at the 2026 Pan American Youth and Masters Championships 2026, but silver medalist Vinusha Sridhar is present, as is top seed and bronze medalist from Florida, Hailey Franzone.
The recurve U18 men’s champion from Gator Cup was Aarya Arun. He can expect to be challenged by the likes of Henry Kim – top seed and bronze medalist last time out.
Suraj Nalam and Brody Wonch, gold and bronze medal winners respectively in Newberry, will expect to be challenging in compound U21 men. Savannah O’Donohue was number one seed and silver medalist at Gator Cup and will take some beating this week in compound U21 women.
Elliott Moreck will be seeking to go one better. Silver medalist last month, he may again come up against Parker Smathers, the top archer after qualification in compound U18 men but beaten by Moreck at the semifinal stage.
Elsewhere, Raylie Seyler (compound U18 women), Brody Terry (compound U15 men), Jamie DiGiacomo (barebow U21 women), Harley Montgomery (barebow U18 women), Karthic Arun (barebow U15 men), Hanna Xu (barebow U15 women), Griffin Witty (fixed pins U21 men), Chase Manor (fixed pins U18 men) and Chloe Brandt (fixed pins U18 women) were all gold medalists in their respective divisions at Gator Cup and all are in action in Salt Lake City.
