USA Archery Seeks Nominations for Collegiate Regional Coach of the Year

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery appreciates the efforts of our coaches who dedicate themselves tirelessly to helping our archers grow and achieve their goals. Collegiate coaches often face increased challenges balancing the academic needs of their student athletes with busy competition and practice schedules. To honor their efforts, we invite our collegiate clubs to recognize exceptional standouts in each region (East, North, South, and West) with nominations for the USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coach of the Year Award.

Nominees should demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in the sport in the past year. Examples of such accomplishments may include, but are not limited to:

  • Local, state, and/or national honors and recognitions
  • Team win/loss record (please include placements of athletes/teams coached as well as the level of competition - state, national, international, etc.)
  • List the ways the nominee has contributed to the advancement of the sport
  • Athlete testimony: How has this coach contributed to the success of you and/or your team?

Nomination Requirements:

  • Current USA Archery Level 2 or higher Certified Instructor/Coach
  • Current USA Archery Membership
  • Club Coach with a current USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Club

All current USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program clubs are eligible to nominate one coach for the Regional Coach of the Year Award. Please complete the Nomination Form, which can be found here and return to USA Archery at [email protected] by March 31, 2016.

Once nominations are received, USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Clubs will vote for the nominees in their respective region. If a club chooses not to nominate a coach, they may still participate in the voting process.
