Blizzard Bow Bash

Anderson Archery, Inc., a JOAD and Adult USA Archery Club of Lawrenceburg, KY, is hosting a USA Archery-sanctioned 60-arrow event on Saturday, 12/06/2025. Two shooting line times will be available to accommodate local archers (see below). There will be a maximum of 40 archers per shooting line time. Archers will have a choice between a 40-cm 10-ring single spot or a triangle 3-spot. The 60cm target face will be an option for U13 and U15 barebow and recurve disciplines (please note that a 40cm target face is required for the KY-State tournament). Explore Archery Universal draw (Genesis) archers will shoot on the 40-cm 10-ring single spot target face. Outer/Inner 10 scoring ring will be used for recurve/compound accordingly. All targets will be at an 18m indoor distance. Yeoman archers (archers under 12yo) will have the option to shoot at 9 meters (please note 18m will be the required distance at the KY State tournament).

Lane assignments and targets will be assigned based on class and division. No requests for lanes or positions will be allowed. Once lane assignments have been made, changes will only be allowed at the discretion of the host site. 

Saturday: 9:00 am EST. Shooting line time: Check-in and equipment inspection from 8:00 am to 8:45 am. Three (3) practice ends begin promptly at 9:00 am EST. Scoring ends begin promptly afterward.

Saturday: 1:00 pm EST. Shooting line time: Check in and equipment inspection from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm. Three (3) practice ends begin promptly at 1:00 pm EST, with scoring ends beginning promptly afterward.

Scorecards must be turned in as soon as possible after finishing the round. All archers must sign their respective scorecards. All archers must turn in scorecards as a group, once all scores are tabulated and agreed upon. Only one bale at a time when turning in score cards.  Awards will be presented on Sat, 12/06/25, after the last shooting line is completed. If you win an award and cannot be present to receive it, please make arrangements to pick it up or have another archer receive it on your behalf. 

All participants must follow the USA Archery Dress Code. This event is open to all competitors who are members of USA Archery. There will be no On-Site registration!

• Concessions will be available for purchase. Absolutely NO outside food will be allowed.

• There will be a $5 spectator fee. Archers' entrance is included with registration. This fee helps support the Anderson Archery, Inc. JOAD program.

• There is no bow case storage area. Please keep all bow cases in vehicles. This allows us to maintain a safe walking space within the range.

Additional info and Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than December 03, 2025. If you cancel after Wednesday, December 3rd we will not provide a refund. Please send all cancellation requests to: [email protected]
• Space Limitations: There will be a designated spectators and coaches’ area that will be enforced.  Due to space limitations, Spectator spots are first-come first first-served. Due to space limitations, there will not be space for bow cases inside the building. Please leave all bow cases outside/in the vehicle.
• Nicotine Products: No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products allowed inside the club building. If the use of nicotine products is necessary, please do so in personal vehicles and designated areas.
• Animals: No pets! Service animals meeting ADA guidelines are welcome.
• Restrooms: Available on-site.

Please Note: As a registered participant in a USA Archery-sanctioned event, you are required to adhere to the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies for the duration of the event.
