2025 USA Archery-Arizona State JOAD Outdoor Championship

The 2025 USA Archery Arizona State JOAD Championships will be a single-day event for 2025. The day will begin with a 72-arrow qualification round, followed by a lunch break, and then return for elimination rounds and medal matches. Awards will be presented as divisions are finished. Guests are allowed to compete but are not eligible for the title of “State Champion”.

The archer and spectator areas will be separated by orange tape. Coaches and staff must have the proper credentials and the authorized wristbands to pass the orange tape. Coaching credential paperwork must be submitted and processed by April 17, 2025.  Link to Credentials here.

  • Saturday 04/19/2025 - 72 Arrow Qualification
    • Two (2) Scoring rounds of 36 arrows for a total of 72 arrows and a max score of 720.
    • 10 Minute Intermission between Scoring Rounds
    • Lunch Break
    • Eliminations and Medal Matches

Compound: per World Archery and USA Archery Rules
Fixed Pins: per USA Archery Rules

Barebow: per World Archery and USA Archery Rules
Recurve: per World Archery and USA Archery Rules

Payment is made at time of registration via Sport80. No registration is complete until payment is made. No same day registration.

 REGISTRATION FEES:

      • JOAD registration fee: $50.00
      • Yeoman registration fee: $40

 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 

Registration is open until the venue is full, which may occur before the registration deadline of April 15, 2023 9:00 am. ***NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES***NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION *********** Late registration accepted on space available basis *************  USAA AZ residents will be given registration preference

FOOD / BEVERAGE

There will be NO food vendor on site. Food/Restaurants are located east of the I-17 on Carefree Hwy.

Corner Archery may have a “snack bar” with small packaged snacks and drinks available to purchase. We anticipate temperatures to be warm and Corner Archery will supply free water to everyone available in coolers in multiple locations in the archers area as well as spectator areas.

COACHES: If you are planning to attend and wish to have access to the Coaches area directly behind the athlete area, you will need to submit you credentials prior to April 17th, 2025 for verification.

7:00 AM - Check In and Equipment Inspection

7:45 AM - Official Practice

Time Unknown - First 36 Arrows

Time Unknown - 10 Minute Intermission

Time Unknown - Second 36 Arrows

1:00 PM - Check In

1:30 PM Elimination Matches Start with 2 Ends of Official Practice

Awards will be presented as each division finishes.

 

MEMBERSHIP – USA Archery membership listing Arizona residence is required to compete for the State Championship recognition. Archers may be asked to show USAA membership card at the tournament check-in table. Link to USA Archery Membership
