Forest Adventure 3D

Cub Run Archers of Arlington-Fairfax IWLA invites you to join us through the roving wooded 3-D nature course! 

Please note: No day-of registrations will be accepted. All participants must register before the closing date. Please contact the event coordinator [email protected] with questions.

Forest Adventure 3-D tournament & novelty shoot will consistent of:

• 9:45am Shotgun start
• 28 targets scored - 1 arrow per target
• Lunch & refreshments
• Pin award ceremony
• Novelty & fun shoot (participation is optional)

Registration fee:

$40 - includes lunch & refreshments.

Event Schedule:

8am: Check-in opens* (note as mentioned above, no day-of registrations will be accepted.)

8:30-9:15a: 3-D warm-up practice area available

9:00a: Equipment safety inspection

9:15a: Safety announcements, welcome, & target assignments

9:30a: Shooters head to starting targets

9:45a: Shotgun start

12n: Lunch at covered pavilion

12:45p: Pin award ceremony  

1p: Novelty shoot on the warm-up course

Note: The maximum arrow velocity rule for all classes is waived for this event. 

We will have the chronograph on site to measure arrow speed but only for the archer's knowledge.

Classes:

U18 through the calendar year of the 17th birthday

Collegiate Junior*

Collegiate Senior*

50+ minimum 50 years of age

All participants must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.

All competitors must be members of USA Archery or obtain a free USA Archery Temporary Membership.  Click here.

Cancellation policy:  A refund (minus processing fees) is available if the e-mail cancellation request addressed to [email protected] is received prior to 09/16/23 at 8:00 am.  Cancellations after the time set are non-refundable.  A credit card refund will be issued to the registered individual once original payment is confirmed.  Please allow 3 days for organizers to process cancellation requests.
