Striving for that gold medal, top three finish, or personal best is what tournament play is all about, and we cannot wait to see you at the range with us. The Lancaster Archery Academy is holding our ninth annual Fall Harvest Star FITA tournament on October 27, 28, and 29. You can register online by clicking this link. All shooters will be required to have a current USA Archery Membership. WA/USA Archery Rules and Dress Code will be in effect.
Once all qualification rounds are complete, we will combine age classes and genders into three larger divisions: Recurve, Compound, and Barebow. The top 8 finishers in each of these combined divisions based on qualification score will be eligible to shoot head-to-head elimination matches for prize money. Archers may sign up for whichever qualifier line they would like, and should they make it to the Top 8 in a combined division, be able to return Sunday, October 29 at 2:00PM for elimination matchplay. All archers will shoot qualifiers and eliminations at 18M with the exception of Yeoman, who will shoot at 9M. Recurve and Barebow matches will follow the Set System. Compound matches will be based on total score. Due to differences in equipment, while bowhunter (fixed pin) archers will be ineligible to compete in elimination matches, they will still be eligible to compete in qualifications, and may receive a trophy for their placement in that round.
The tournament will be held on the Academy main range, which is located below the Lancaster Archery Supply Pro Shop, 2195-A Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602.
