2021 GAA JOAD Indoor State Championship - Statesboro

Athletes who have registered for this state JOAD championship event are also eligible to register for the 2021 USA Archery JOAD Indoor Nationals. More info here.

Eligibility: All participants must be a member of USA Archery and must show proof of membership. USA Archery memberships can be purchased at www.teamusa.org/usa-archery. Archers must be a resident of Georgia to compete for State Championship awards. Guest divisions will be awarded for non-residents.

Please print the SSEC waiver and bring it with you to check-in. Archers may register onsite if space allows.

Tournament Format:

18-meter Indoor Round, 60 arrows. (Yeoman archers - 9-meter)
All archers will be given 3 official practice rounds prior to official scoring.
World Archery for shooting and equipment will be used at all times.
USA Archery dress code will be enforced.

All compound archers and Junior/Cadet recurve/barebow will shoot 40cm target - single spot or vertical 3-spot will be selected on registrations

All Cub, Bowman, and Yeoman recurve/barebow archers will shoot 60cm target - single spot only

Age Divisions:
Youth archers only may participate. See https://www.gaarchery.org/faq for division details.

Additional Precautions: Precautions may be updated closer to the event.

NO spectators will be permitted inside the archery range due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you have a Youth archer (17 years and under) and do not feel comfortable with them in the range without a guardian please email Coach Cassy at: [email protected]

Event organizers are taking precautions to comply with state and local health authorities to minimize health risks during the event. This event will allow for adequate spacing by limiting the number of archers per target.  For other guidance, please see the USA Archery Guidance on Safe Return to Training for Archery, or visit state or local health agency websites.

Dress code: USA Archery Dress code will be enforced. 

Cancellations: Cancellations received BEFORE Saturday, February 13 will receive a full refund minus fees. No refunds will be provided for cancellations after Saturday, February 13.

Please Note: As a registered participant in a USA Archery sanctioned event, you are required to adhere to the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies for the duration of the event.
