The USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Practical Course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely conduct beginner archery programs. Topics include archery range setup and safety, range rules, equipment knowledge and basic repairs, the fundamentals of the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting, and introductory instruction and lesson planning.
This is a USA Archery-sanctioned online practical course and will be conducted through Microsoft Teams. The meeting link will be provided to registered participants before the course.
To allow for meaningful interaction and practical instruction, enrollment is limited to 6 participants.
The USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Online Course must be successfully completed before registering for the practical course.
The online course includes an online exam and must be completed through USA Archery before attending the practical course.
