Qualifications: L-1 Coach Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years of age and must successfully have completed and passed the online L-1 Coach Course, via the USA Archery Education Hub.
Course: The Practical Course is an "in-person" course whereby Coach candidates will apply the knowledge learned in the online course of instruction. Candidates will be guided and observed by a Certified Instructor Trainer in a hands-on skill development process, while practicing and demonstrating the physical aspects of archery and method of instructing beginner programs.
Areas of development will consist of; Range Safety and Set-up, Knowledge of equipment management, basic repairs, and properly outfitting students, Basic steps of shooting, Positions of observation, creating basic lesson plans, and teaching.
The Practical Course will have a duration of 2-5 hours, dependent upon the candidates experience and knowledge. Fees are to be paid in full prior to start of Practical course.
