Level 1 Instructor Practical

Level One Instructor Practical Course

This in‑person practical is designed for students 15 years of age and older who have successfully completed the USA Archery Level 1 Online Instructor Course. During this session, candidates will demonstrate the knowledge and coaching skills required of a certified Level 1 Instructor, including safety procedures, range operations, and foundational teaching techniques.

All necessary archery range equipment will be available onsite. Participants will receive a folder of training materials and new instructor materials (whistle, stretch band, string loop). A Level 1 Archery Instructor Patch will be provided upon course completion at the end of the day. Please bring notepad, pen/pencil, reusable water bottle, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, as needed), and lunch/snacks that do not require refrigeration.

Much of the training will be held outdoors in an open field so please wear closed toe shoes and clothing for moving around outdoors. Please avoid wearing any overly loose-fitting clothes or dangling jewelry that may get caught in the bowstrings. If you have long hair, be prepared to pull it back with a hair tie.

After registering please email [email protected] to confirm registration in the course. Thank you!
