USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification is an advanced training course for archers who want to teach archery at Santa Cruz Archers or who may want to teach long-term programs such as JOAD, Adult Archery, or Explore Archery. This course includes Level 1 and Level 2 content and provides instruction in the National Training System Steps-of-Shooting for recurve and compound bows, and, in addition, equipment setup, and athlete development.
Candidates for certification must successfully complete the Level 1 and Level 2 online courses and exams, and then they can enroll in, and attend, this in-person practical course to earn certification. Note that attending does not guarantee certification, candidates must pass the practical course evaluations.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold current USA Archery or NFAA membership, and maintain active SafeSport training and a cleared background screen.
