Olde English Outfitters Level 2 Instructor Practical

Class Starts: 8:00am(EST)

This Practical course is for students who have completed their USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Online Course within the USA Archery Education Hub at their own pace. Upon successful completion of the online course, students will then register for this in-person Practical Course. Minimum age is 18.

In addition to passing the course, instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, a current USA Archery Background Screen, and a current USA Archery or National Field Archery Association membership. Students will demonstrate range safety and setup, the steps of shooting, knowledge of equipment, and basic repair so that they can be well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities in a variety of disciplines. 

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification practical course provides graduates with the necessary tools to serve as the lead instructor for long-term archery programs such as Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program, Collegiate Archery Program clubs, and the Explore Archery Program. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam, and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course.

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification practical course includes the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor online certification course information and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, athlete development, and events.USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is not a prerequisite for this course.

The normal time investment is 8 hours, depending on the instructor candidates' experiences, and the enrollment fee is $100. The minimum age is 18.  Please contact Chris Myers to schedule your class during this time period by emailing [email protected].
