USA Archery Level 1 Instructor – In-Person Practical Course

Who this course is for:
This in-person practical course is for students who:

  • Are 15 years old or older, and
  • Have already completed the USA Archery Level 1 Online Instructor Course.

Purpose of the course:
During this session, participants w
ill demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to become a certified Level 1 Instructor. The practical evaluation includes:

  • Archery safety procedures
  • Range operations
  • Basic instruction and coaching techniques

Course length and cost:

  • Duration: Approximately 4 hours (The exact length may vary depending on class size and participant experience.)
  • Fee: $100, collected on site prior to the start of the course.

The course will take place at the IWLA Rockville Chapter

How to register:

Registration requires two steps:

Step 1 – Register online

Step 2 – Email the instructor
After registering online, send an email to Scott Binder at [email protected]

In the email, let the instructor know that:

  • You completed the online registration, and
  • You are interested in attending the practical course.

Once your email is received, the instructor will:

  • Confirm your spot in the course, and
  • Send additional details before the course begins.
