Level 1/2 Practical

This course is a hands-on continuation of the USA Archery Level 1 / 2 online instructor / coaching certification.

At the end of this course, the student shall be able to:

• show how to setup an outdoor / indoor archery range with proper safety lines
• know the standard whistle commands
• properly fit bows, arrows and archery accessories to archers of various ages and heights
• know, demonstrate, and teach the steps of shooting for recurve or compound
• demonstrate the basic five steps of shooting using the Body, Band, Bow method
• observe from the basic five coaching positions
• inspect, assembly, and repair (limited) archery equipment
• provide direct and indirect feedback as methods for coaching

This event will be held outdoors under canopy shade.  Please be prepared and dress appropriately.

Lunch will be provided.   A week before the course an email will be sent to request food selection.
