Level 2 Practical - ArcherySTL St. Louis, MO

Are you looking to become a certified archery instructor?  USA Archery Instructor Certification practical courses provide graduates the necessary tools to serve as an instructor for short-term camps (Level 1) and long-term archery programs such as Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program clubs, and the Explore Archery Program at Level 2. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the relevant USA Archery Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Instructor practical course for their level.

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification practical course includes the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor online certification course information and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, athlete development and events.

In addition to passing a course, instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training (https://www.usarchery.org/about/safesport), current USA Archery Background Screen (https://www.usarchery.org/about/background-screening), and a current USA Archery membership or National Field Archery Association membership(https://www.usarchery.org/memberships/become-a-member).

USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is not a prerequisite for a Level 2 course. All training is done by a certified USA Archery Instructor Trainer. All attendees receive coaching supplies (stretch band, string loop, and whistle) and a certificate of completion.

Level 1 ends at 1:30 PM. There is a lunch break from 1:15 to 2:15 PM for Level 2 students. There are several restaurants close to the high school or bring a sack lunch.
