Level 1 Practical Course (Hunterdon County YMCA only)

This Course is for Hunterdon County YMCA summer camp staff only.

Level 1 Certification has two parts:
1) Online Course – Level 1 (Link) *MUST be completed FIRST
2) In-Person Practical (This course)
BOTH parts are needed for certification

Practical Course Content:
-Range safety
-Range set-up
-Basic equipment setup and repair
-How to teach the basic steps of shooting
(bows and related equipment will be provided)

-This Practical Course is for students who have successfully passed the asynchronous USA Archery Level 1 Online Certification Course within the Archery Education Hub.
-This practical course will take 4 hours and cost $50. Minimum age is 15. Certification period is THREE years from the date of course certification.
- All counselors MUST register/pass the Online Instructor Level 1 course PRIOR to registering for this practical.
